A Wet Spring

As I am writing this today, more significant spring storms are blanketing much of our Straub complex’s trade area. During a very dry winter, we were all asking ourselves if there was going to be a wheat crop, dry ponds, or any moisture to plant our fall crops into. Well, that question has been resoundingly answered over the last few weeks. While the moisture is welcome and much needed, we all know it can create issues, as well. Here at Straub’s we understand that the continued rains are creating a compressed time schedule to get the fall crops in, and can create disease/insect issues in the wheat crop. Rest assured that we will work hard to get you back up and running if you experience a breakdown in the field. Many of our service techs attended additional training schools over the winter, and are even more knowledgeable than before, to service your equipment. Our parts departments will be here to serve you with genuine Case IH, Great Plains, and Crustbuster parts. Now also may be the time to upgrade to a larger &/or more efficient planter or drill to make sure you can get your crops in, in the most timely manner possible. We have a nice selection of pre-owned drills and planters, many eligible for 0% for 60 month financing, for eligible purchasers. Give our pre-owned inventory a look on our all new Straub website at www.straubint.com, or stop in and visit with your local Straub Sales Consultant.
